Bryan R. Shelby, PMP, PgMP, PfMP, CSM

Bryan Shelby is Director, IT PMO at KPMG US. Previously, he had been in Technology at The Blackstone Group for 9 years supporting hedge fund operations, had operated as an independent consultant for 15 years before that (providing portfolio/program/project management and lifecycle methodology expertise to large corporations in a number of different industries), and before going independent in 1993, had been VP in Technology at Bankers Trust supporting back-office trust operations.

Bryan has a BA in Mathematics from Harvard, is a past Member of the American Society of Pension Actuaries, and has achieved the PMP®, PgMP®, and PfMP® credentials from the PMI and the CSM credential from the Scrum Alliance. He has contributed to the Project Management Professional (PMP®), Program Management Professional (PgMP®), and Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP®) exams and the revision of the PMI’s Project Management Competency Development Framework, and has served on the PMI Lexicon Committee.
