All project managers know what “lessons learned” are, but is that knowledge management? A lesson is only learned if it causes a change in behavior. This presentation is based on a project the presenter conducted with a global IT company with over 1200 project managers. The project focused on how to use lessons learned and other tacit knowledge to improve the organization’s ability to share knowledge. The presentation will also discuss how some of these techniques have been applied on other organizations and how knowledge management is important to agile projects.
