Development of Project Management Standards

 PMI is a standards-development organization. It produces standards acceptable to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and is the United States representative to the International Standards Organization (ISO) technical committee on Project Management.

This seminar will describe how PMI develops its project management standards such as the PMBOK Guide or the Standard for Program Management. How volunteers are selected, the amount of work involved, the review process, the comments phase, the adjudication process, and the final document completion.
