"I have 16 years of experience in Project, Program, Portfolio and PMO management in Telecommunications and Health Care.
At the Ministry of Health I manage the Wait Times Information Program, whose goal is to shorten the time patients wait for key surgical procedures, thus improving public access to care. The subject of a presentation on this area would be the development of Project Management in the Wait Time Information Program, and the challenge of managing the transition from project mode to operations. Ontario has set world standards for delivery in this area. This would be useful to attendees interested in health care transformation.
I was a PM in the boom times of the “dot com” era of the 1990s, through the fall of the technology sector in the early 2000s and into the second economic downturn in 2008-2009. I worked for Internet, Wireless, Long Distance and Local phone service providers and would share “Lessons Learned” for effective project management and PMO Leadership. This would be the focus of a presentation on the subject of Telecommunications project management if this was preferred."
