Tarne, Bob, PMP, CSM Bob Tarne, PMP, CSM is an accomplished consultant, speaker, and writer. He is currently an Engagement Manager with IBM, where he specializes in leading business process improvement initiatives following lean/agile project management techniques. Prior to joining IBM, he was a Managing Consultant with PM Solutions, where he was responsible for improving client’s project management practices. He has also worked as a project manager for Sprint and Owens-Illinois. Bob’s career began in the U.S. Navy where he served for seven years as a Cryptologist. Bob achieved designation as a Project Management Professional 2001, Six Sigma Blackbelt in 2005, and Certified Scrum Master in 2008. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MS in Business from Johns Hopkins University – Carey School of Business.
