Turning Theory into Practice: Extremely Practical Risk Management Description: Some experts have said that a strong risk management process can decrease problems on a project by as much as 80 or 90 percent. Risk management methodologies address the needs but tend to be too theoretical or require significant process to be practical in today's fast paced environment. While the general framework we will discuss is consistent with the Project Management Institute's Standard for Risk Management, the focus of this presentation will be on practical risk management day to day tips, methods, and techniques that you can scale for use on projects of any type, size and complexity. You will also learn how to use visual charts to communicate a variety of risk related information.
