Sidestep Complexity

Description: Organizations striving  to  implement  project  management  practice  have  to balance competing  demands  and  increasing  complexity  arising  from  new technologies, customer needs, and team member requirements.  This keynote speech will address how leaders can embrace the profession and its practice in a simplified approach focused on   principles as opposed to complicated methodologies and tools.  The presentation will focus on 10 best practices that organizations can leverage to ensure success in project management.  Using the small and medium sized business (SMB) segment as an example, the speaker will highlight how these best practices can be deployed to address the unique challenges of SMBs.  Concepts  in  this  presentation  are  based  on  Sidestep Complexity, a book authored by Philip Diab and published by PMI in 2011
